For our New Year's Eve Mini Contest, we asked you to tell us the best/most exciting/most interesting Michigan wine you tried in 2012 and to tell us your Michigan wine resolution. We then turned to our trusty friend, the random number generator at Random.org, to choose the winner. And it was ... GINA KITTLE of Fruitport! Too soon for another contest? Nah. We couldn't resist the urge to commemorate a holiday in our favorite way: by giving stuff away. So we're whipping up a mini contest to usher in 2013. It's quick and easy to enter somewhere between your first and 15th glass of celebratory bubbly. Just send your answer to one or both of the following questions to cort@michiganbythebottle.com by 11:59 p.m. Dec. 31, 2012:

1. What was the most interesting/best/exciting Michigan wine you tried this year, and why?

2. What's your Michigan wine resolution for 2013?

Each response earns you an entry, with the winner determined by (you guessed it) our good friend, the random number generator at Random.org. Maximum two entries per person (one per question). Winner: Four-Course Thanksgiving Contest

We are thankful for everyone who participated in our Four-Course Thanksgiving Contest yesterday, which asked participants to say why they were thankful for Michigan wines, which Michigan winery's float they'd want to ride on in a hypothetical parade (if only this parade existed, wouldn't that be a trip?), post pictures of which Michigan wines they were drinking for Thanksgiving and/or tweet a message about MBTB. 

We relied on the trust random number generator at Random.org to pick our winner, and it is ... RAY ANTEL!
