If you enjoy sampling wines and are up for a short drive, a visit to Gravity, the newest winery in Southwest Michigan’s so-called Lake Michigan Shore Appellation, is sure to leave you feeling.... uplifted.
Owners Rockie Rick and his wife, Alison, have put a lot of thought and a lot of hard work into every aspect of their multifaceted operation, and it shows.
First of all, it’s a beautiful setting. The winery actually consists of three separate properties that total around 70 acres. The tasting center, where visitors are welcome seven days a week (but not before noon), is located off of Lauer Road, approximately 5 miles east of Bridgman.
