This contest ended as of 5 p.m. Friday, July 27.
We know your type. You don't have just one bottle of wine stashed in a cabinet or chilling in the fridge. Nah, you're hoarding them, collecting them, saving them. You're preserving them for that "special occasion," or letting some of those good ones get some age. Or maybe you just can't resist stocking up every time you hit the wine trail, to the point where you're overflowing. Whatever your motivation, we're pretty sure you've got a cellar going. And we want to see it!
Through our "Show Us Your Cellar" contest, we'll swap you: You send us a photo of your cellar, along with a few sentences about its contents (we'd love to know how much of it is Michigan!), and we'll give you a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Aug. 3 Paella in the Park event in Traverse City, courtesy of Porterhouse Productions! Read on for details and how you can get tickets to the celebration even if you're not our lucky winner...
The contest...
Your "cellar" can be anything from a literal, tricked-out wine cellar to a basement corner to a coat closet to a dedicated room in your house. Whatever it is, share it with us, either by posting a pic on our Facebook wall (specifying that it's for the "Show Us Your Cellar" contest and with your description) or by emailing it to us (with "Show Us Your Cellar" in the subject line and your description in the body).
The deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, July 27, and the winner — who will be drawn RANDOMLY — will be announced Saturday, July 28. Fair warning, your entries may appear in a post on MichiganByTheBottle.com! You must be at least 21 years old to enter.
The event...
