Here at Michigan By The Bottle, we celebrate Michigan wine every day. But in honor of Michigan Wine Month in April, we’re kicking it up a notch ... or 10!
Over the last several weeks, we’ve been busily coordinating our SUPER HUGE Michigan Wine Month Giveaway Event ... and believe me, we’ve had a hard time keeping the details under wraps. But with April looming, we’re now ready to reveal all!
(BTW, I started off calling it the SUPER HUGE Michigan Wine Month Giveaway Event when it was in the planning stages because it sounded quirky and goofy, with intentions of changing it to something "clever" later, but it kinda stuck, so we're rolling with it. It may be silly, but it's completely accurate!)
What’s going on: Aided by the extreme generosity of our friends at Michigan wineries, we’ll be giving prizes away EVERY SINGLE DAY throughout April to lucky fans! These items range from wine-related apparel and glassware to gift cards to unique winery experiences like VIP tastings, tours and picnics. You’re not going to believe the vast quantity and quality of the prizes that will be up for grabs!
How it works: Winning is SO easy. There are no essays to write, videos to make or trivia questions to field. Each day in April, we will post (on the Michigan By The Bottle blog, Facebook page and Twitter accounts) the details of a new giveaway and directions on how to win. Mostly, we’ll be asking opinion-based questions (so no right or wrong answers!) that entrants must answer on our Facebook page.
Each giveaway period will span from the time that promotion is posted in the morning until 11:59 p.m. (Eastern time) that night. At midnight, we’ll assign numbers to each of the responses in the order they’re posted, then allow the random number generator at Random.org to pick our winning number. The recipient will be revealed the following morning in conjunction with the next day’s giveaway announcement.

Here’s the obligatory fine print: You must be 21 years of age or older to win any of the prizes that entail alcohol in any way, shape or form; that includes the experiential prizes, like VIP tastings. There’s no age limit for winning apparel or other non-alcoholic prizes. Prizes can only be shipped to the continental United States. Individual prizes may come with their own restrictions, such as times, days of the week or periods of the year it can be redeemed, expiration dates, etc., as determined by the contributing winery.
